118

The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has initiated a beautification campaign in Karachi, focusing on Shahrah-e-Faisal and its surroundings. The campaign, in collaboration with the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD), aims to enhance the aesthetics of 20 buildings and the surrounding environment.

As part of the campaign, residential and commercial buildings with unsightly exteriors, petrol pumps, and other structures from the airport to FTC Building will be repainted and renovated. Additionally, plants will be planted along the green belts.

The campaign was launched following the Minister of Local Government’s directive to the SBCA to address the deteriorating exterior condition of buildings along Shahrah-e-Faisal. The goal of the beautification effort is to create a positive first impression of the city and country for foreign visitors arriving from the airport.

Among the 20 buildings being targeted for exterior painting and beautification are Falaknaz Tower, Falaknaz Heights, Falaknaz View, Falaknaz Arcade, Falaknaz Center, Falaknaz Plaza, Airport View, Moon Arcade, Rafi Mansion, Rafi Star Apartments, and others.
