PTA and TikTok Launch #DigitalHifazat Contest to Promote Digital Awareness

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced the launch of the #DigitalHifazat Contest in collaboration with TikTok. Running from October 20 to November 5, 2024, the contest encourages Pakistani residents aged 13 and above to create awareness videos on important digital topics.

Participants are invited to submit 45-90 second TikTok videos on themes such as:

  • Responsible Use of Social Media
  • Tackling Online Harassment
  • Online Fraud Prevention
  • Youth Safety & Well-being
  • TikTok Safety Tools
  • Misinformation/Disinformation on social media

To enter, users must tag @ptaofficialpk and use the hashtag #DigitalHifazat when posting their videos. Exciting prizes, including Apple iPad Air and Samsung smartphones, are up for grabs for the best entries.

This contest aims to promote responsible online behavior and raise awareness of digital safety among the youth of Pakistan.
