West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, just days before celebrating his 41st birthday. The decision comes following an injury sustained during the recent Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which unfortunately cut short his final appearance on the field.
Bravo, the highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket history, enjoyed an illustrious 21-year career. Representing the West Indies, he played 40 Test matches, scoring 2,200 runs and taking 86 wickets. In One Day Internationals (ODIs), he featured in 164 matches, amassing 2,968 runs and claiming 199 wickets. Additionally, in T20 Internationals, he played 91 matches, scoring 1,255 runs and capturing 78 wickets.
Bravo leaves behind a remarkable legacy, celebrated for his contributions to the sport and his impact on the T20 format.
