Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has reaffirmed that the ICC Champions Trophy will take place in Pakistan, urging India to address any concerns through dialogue.
Speaking to the media, Naqvi emphasized, “National pride is our top priority, and the Champions Trophy will be hosted in Pakistan.
We are in contact only with the ICC and are awaiting their response. If India has concerns, they should communicate with us, and we will address them.”
The PCB Chairman expressed optimism, saying, “I am hopeful for positive outcomes. Sports and politics are separate matters, and we remain firm on our stance. The ICC should announce the Champions Trophy schedule soon, as we need to complete our preparations.”
