According to a cricket website report, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that India will not send its team to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The report highlights that the BCCI conveyed its decision based on directives from the Indian government, instructing against participating in matches hosted by Pakistan.
Following this development, both the ICC and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will need to explore alternative plans. One proposed solution involves a hybrid model, with matches being hosted in Pakistan and the UAE.
Additionally, Sri Lanka has been mentioned as a potential venue under the hybrid model.
