The Wildlife Department, in collaboration with police, conducted a successful operation in Tunsa, resulting in the seizure of a rare eagle valued at over 10 crore PKR. The spokesperson for the department confirmed that the eagle is in good health.

The arrested suspect is believed to be involved in the illegal smuggling of the rare bird abroad. Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb praised the Wildlife Department on behalf of the Chief Minister of Punjab for their efforts.

The eagle will be released back into the wild with a tracker, as part of ongoing initiatives to protect forests and wildlife, according to Maryam Aurangzeb. She added that several rare animals and birds have already been rescued and relocated to the zoo, and many have received treatment to save their lives.
