Sindh Reduces Fees for Filming, Photography, and Bridal Shoots at Tourist Sites

The Sindh Department of Culture and Tourism has announced a significant reduction in official fees for filming, drama shoots, commercial videos, photography, and bridal shoots at major tourist sites across the province, according to a spokesperson.

  • The fee for Quaid-e-Azam House Museum has been reduced from PKR 100,000 to PKR 30,000.
  • At Mohenjo-daro in Larkana and Makli, the fee has been cut from PKR 200,000 to PKR 50,000.
  • Fees for Mukhi House Museum in Hyderabad, Kot Diji Fort, and Naukot Fort have been reduced from PKR 100,000 to PKR 30,000.
  • The new fee for Umerkot Fort & Museum, Ranikot Fort, Chaukhandi Tombs, and Banbhore Fort is now set at PKR 30,000.

A notification of these new rates has been issued by the Secretary of Culture, said the spokesperson. Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah remarked that these reductions would allow more people to benefit from these sites, while also promoting Sindh’s rich cultural heritage.

He emphasized that the Sindh government is committed to showcasing the province’s positive image to the world through its cultural and historical landmarks, as per the clear directives of Chief Minister Sindh.
