Sindh Government to Provide Free Education for Low-Income Families and Terrorism Victims’ Children

45

The government has decided to offer free education in private schools across Sindh for children of low-income families and those whose parents were victims of terrorism.

A committee will be established, consisting of parents and teachers, to oversee the implementation of free education in all schools, according to Rafia Javed, the Additional Director of Private Institutions.

The committee will determine which children are eligible for this scholarship. Rafia Javed further stated that 10% of the total student body in each school will receive free education.

Strict action will be taken against schools that fail to provide free education to 10% of their students. All private schools have been instructed to form a 9-member committee to ensure compliance.
