Sindh Cabinet Approves Charter for Denning Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship in Karachi

In a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Sindh Cabinet has approved the formation of the Sindh IT Company. The new entity will function under the provincial Information Technology Department.

Additionally, the Sindh Cabinet approved the charter for the Denning Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship in Karachi, which will now be sent to the assembly for further approval. The cabinet also transferred the Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Health Department to the Department of Persons with Disabilities.

The Cabinet approved Rs. 434.109 million for the restoration of a 1.5 MGD Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant in Islamkot, Tharparkar. The Chief Minister instructed the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure the plant becomes operational within three months and ordered the immediate release of funds for the project.

The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, advisors, the Chief Secretary, the Chairman of Planning and Development, and other officials.
