In a significant shift within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the party’s founding chairman has made key decisions regarding its administrative structure. According to sources, Salman Akram Raja has been appointed as the new Secretary General of PTI, taking over responsibilities for practical politics.
The chairman has separated parliamentary and political affairs, assigning Opposition Leader Umar Ayub and Senator Shibli Faraz to lead the parliamentary team. Additionally, a think tank led by Rauf Hassan will be established to issue a white paper on government performance and oversee electoral matters.
Official notifications of these decisions will be released after an upcoming rally, sources revealed.
