Pakistani Prisoners Return Home After Years of Detention in Sri Lanka

After several years of imprisonment, 5 women and 51 men have been brought back to Pakistan from Sri Lanka on a chartered plane today.

Mohsin Naqvi praised the Sri Lankan government and the High Commissioner for their cooperation in facilitating the return of the prisoners. He also expressed gratitude to Aleem Khan for covering the costs of bringing them back.

One elderly woman, upon her return, expressed her heartfelt thanks to the federal ministers, saying, “Thank you so much for bringing us back to Pakistan. We will never forget this kindness.”
