Oil Produced from Dead Animals and Birds Uncovered in Karachi’s Cattle Colony

49
A shocking discovery has been made in Karachi’s Cattle Colony, where oil was being produced from the fat and parts of dead animals and birds. The Sindh Food Authority, with the help of heavy machinery, has dismantled the factory involved in this illegal activity.
During the raid, authorities seized 8,000 liters of harmful crude oil and 500 kilograms of animal fat. The raiding team also found large quantities of animal carcasses at the site.
This raid follows a similar operation conducted yesterday in Korangi, where another factory producing harmful oil was shut down. The Director General of the Food Authority has ordered an increase in raids against the mafia involved in producing unhealthy cooking oils and ghee.
