Maulana Fazlur Rehman Backs Nationwide Traders’ Strike on August 28

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has announced his full support for the traders’ strike scheduled for August 28 across the country. He criticized the rising inflation and unjust taxes, stating that they have made life unbearable for the common people. Rehman also blamed the IMF-imposed budget for taking away the people’s basic necessities. He urged JUI workers to ensure a peaceful and successful strike.
