Karachi to Introduce Double-Decker Buses: 50 New Buses Approved for People’s Bus Service

Senior Minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, announced exciting news for the public, revealing that double-decker buses will soon be seen on the streets of Karachi. The Sindh government has initiated preparations to purchase 50 new buses for the People’s Bus Service.

In an important meeting chaired by Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, he directed the Mass Transit Authority and other relevant officials to speed up the bus procurement process. “We are committed to modernizing public transport in Karachi,” Memon stated.

The Sindh government’s move is aimed at providing affordable and comfortable travel for citizens while significantly improving the urban transportation system. Memon emphasized the importance of quick implementation to meet the growing transportation needs of the public.

Additionally, he ordered the swift completion of bus stations for the People’s Bus Service to further enhance the city’s transport infrastructure.
