Karachi Faces Traffic Problems as Many Areas Remain Flooded

72
Rainwater has yet to be cleared from many streets across Karachi, leading to heavy traffic congestion in several key areas. The situation is particularly dire in front of Gora Qabristan, where water drainage has not been completed, adding to traffic pressure.
In Mahmoodabad, residents are frustrated by the stagnant rainwater and damaged roads. Similarly, rainwater remains on Main Shaheed-e-Millat Road near Iqra University, Millat Town, Jamia Millia Road, and Korangi Link Road causing further inconvenience.
This comes despite Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab’s earlier claims that water drainage efforts were underway. Residents continue to struggle with the mess, with many areas experiencing traffic jams due to the ongoing issue.
