Government Raises Petrol Prices

The government has announced a revision in fuel prices, effective immediately. The price of petrol has been raised by Rs 1.35 per liter, setting the new price at Rs 248.38 per liter. High-speed diesel has also seen an increase of Rs 3.85 per liter, bringing the price to Rs 255.14 per liter.
However, prices of kerosene and light diesel oil have been reduced. Kerosene is now Rs 1.48 cheaper per liter, with a new price of Rs 161.54 per liter, while light diesel oil has been lowered by Rs 2.61, setting the new rate at Rs 147.51 per liter.
