FBR Offers Rs. 20,000 Reward for Reporting Fake Receipts from Restaurants and Retailers

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a PKR 20,000 reward for individuals reporting fake receipts issued by restaurants and retailers. Through the “Tax Asaan” mobile app, customers can verify receipts using QR codes to ensure authenticity.

The FBR states that if a receipt cannot be verified, users can instantly report it on-site through geo-tracking. Detailed instructions on how to report fake receipts are available on the FBR’s official website.
