Customs Seize Drugs Worth Rs. 2.25 Million from Bangkok Parcel at Karachi Airport

Customs officials at Karachi Airport have successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs into the country. The smuggling was being carried out through the International Mail Office, according to customs authorities.
 
Acting on a tip-off, customs officials inspected a parcel arriving from Bangkok and discovered 500 grams of drugs hidden inside. The parcel had been booked in Bangkok and was addressed to a location in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi.
 
The seized drugs are valued at approximately Rs. 2.25 million. An FIR has been registered, and efforts are underway to apprehend the individuals involved, as confirmed by customs officials.
