ANF Cracks Down on Drug Trafficking and Smuggling, Seizes Drugs Worth Rs. 10 Million

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) launched a series of operations against drug dealing and smuggling, leading to the arrest of four suspects and the recovery of 259.117 kg of drugs worth Rs. 10 million in four separate actions.

During a raid on Karachi’s Super Highway, 1.2 kg of narcotics and 165 grams of crystal meth (ice) were seized from a suspect who admitted to selling drugs to students at educational institutions. In Gwadar, the ANF recovered 252 kg of drugs hidden for smuggling purposes. Another operation in Karachi’s Korangi area resulted in the confiscation of 502 grams of heroin from a suspect.

In Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar, the ANF seized 4 kg of opium and 1.25 kg of addictive pills, leading to the arrest of two suspects.

All arrested individuals have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, according to the ANF spokesperson at their headquarters.
