The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended 34 Afghan nationals who were attempting to travel abroad using fake Pakistani passports and ID cards. FIA officials reported that the suspects had illegally entered Pakistan via the Chaman border.
The arrests began when two foreign nationals were detained at the NADRA Mega Center, leading to a raid on a local hostel, where an additional 32 individuals were found and taken into custody, according to Additional Director FIA Rizwan Shah.
The suspects were reportedly working with an agent to obtain fake Pakistani identification documents, including passports and ID cards, in hopes of facilitating their travel abroad.
