Meezan Bank Honors Arshad Nadeem with Rs. 9,297,000 Award

Meezan Bank awarded Pakistan’s Olympic javelin gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem, with a cash prize of Rs. 9,297,000 for his historic achievement at the 2024 Olympics. The award was presented at a ceremony held at Meezan Bank’s head office, where Arshad received the check from the bank’s founder, President, and CEO, Irfan Siddiqui.

Arshad Nadeem secured the gold medal with an outstanding throw of 92.97 meters, marking Pakistan’s first Olympic gold in 40 years. Meezan Bank rewarded him with Rs. 100,000 for every meter of his winning throw.

At the event, the bank’s Deputy CEO, Syed Aamir Ali, also presented Arshad with a commemorative shield, recognizing his remarkable contribution to Pakistan’s sports history.
