Income Tax Return Filing Deadline Extended by Two Weeks

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns by two weeks. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by FBR Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial.
The new deadline for filing income tax returns is now October 14, and a notification has been issued to confirm the extension. The decision comes in response to demands from trade organizations, tax bar associations, and the general public.
