Govt Proposes Tax Breaks, Lower Import Duties for New Energy Vehicles

The government is drafting the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Policy 2025-30 to cut carbon emissions and boost local NEV manufacturing. Proposed incentives include tax breaks, reduced import duties on NEV parts, and green financing to encourage eco-friendly investments.
