The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that there will be no extension in the deadline for filing income tax returns. FBR spokesperson Bakhtiar Muhammad confirmed that the final date for submission is September 30.

Failure to submit returns may result in the disconnection of electricity and gas connections for non-filers. Additionally, their mobile phone SIM cards could be blocked, according to the FBR spokesperson.
