Former Pakistan cricket team captain Azhar Ali has been appointed as the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Youth Development program.
According to the PCB, this role expands Azhar’s current responsibilities, as he is also serving as a member of the National Selection Committee. His appointment was made following the recruitment process.
Azhar Ali began his journey in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2002 and later progressed to the senior team. During his career from 2010 to 2022, he represented Pakistan in 97 Test matches and 53 ODIs. He also captained the national team in 9 Test matches and 31 ODIs.
