Educational Institutions in Punjab Closed from Today Until November 17 Due to Smog

In response to increasing smog levels, educational institutions across various districts in Punjab have been ordered to close from November 7 to November 17. A notification issued by the Director General of Environment, Punjab, confirms the closure of both public and private schools up to 12th grade, including A-levels.

Key Details:

  • Closure Period: All affected institutions will remain closed from November 7 to November 17.
  • Transition to Online Classes: Schools will conduct online classes during this period.
  • Districts Affected: This measure applies to Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, and Khanewal.
