Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has strongly criticized the government, urging them to effectively manage state institutions instead of privatizing them. He argued that privatization leads to corruption and called for accountability for those responsible. Hafiz Naeem also questioned the exemption of IPPs (Independent Power Producers) from income tax, highlighting that salaried individuals contributed Rs 400 billion in taxes last year. He noted that, while common citizens bear heavy burdens, government officials enjoy extensive perks. He also pointed out that Rs 1.8 billion has been allocated for the maintenance of aircraft for the President and Prime Minister.
