Sindh IG Takes Notice of Robbery Incidents Targeting Bank Customers

7

Sindh Inspector General (IG) has taken notice of recent robberies targeting individuals leaving banks. He directed all banks to install protective shades over cash counters to ensure privacy. Sources report that open cash counters allow people waiting in the seating area to easily observe cash transactions, enabling informers disguised as customers to signal robbers about those carrying large amounts. The IG issued instructions to Additional IG and DIGs, advising banks to implement these protective shades promptly to help conceal cash transactions from onlookers.
