Gas Companies Submit Requests to OGRA for Price Increase

Gas companies have filed applications with the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) seeking to raise gas prices. Sui Northern has proposed an increase of PKR 64.16 per MMBtu, requesting the average price to be set at PKR 1,810.38 per MMBtu. Meanwhile, Sui Southern has submitted a request for a price hike of PKR 669.07 per MMBtu, aiming for an average price of PKR 1,920.39 per MMBtu.

In response to these requests, OGRA has called for feedback from gas consumers regarding the proposed price increases. The OGRA authority is set to hold hearings to consider the applications submitted by the gas companies in Islamabad.
