A man arrested for allegedly stealing a pigeon died in the custody of the Larkana, Waleed police station lockup. The father of the deceased accused the police of torturing his son to death.
Police, however, claim that the young man Sahil Solangi, committed suicide by hanging himself in the lockup. According to the family, a neighbor had the suspect arrested on charges of pigeon theft.
