Three Fake FBR Officers Arrested for Extorting Money from Shopkeepers by Imposing Fines for Three Months

Faisalabad: In a recent incident, residents of Dijkot apprehended three fake officers of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), according to the police. The suspects, identified as Qasim, Suleman, and Kaleemullah, have been handed over to the Dijkot police, and a case has been registered against them.

Sub-Inspector Khizr Hayat filed the case, which includes four charges against the accused. The police reported that the fraudsters had been extorting money from shopkeepers by imposing fines for the past three months. Authorities also recovered fake challan books and counterfeit FBR cards from the arrested individuals.
