Researchers at University College London (UCL) have set a new record for wireless data transmission, reaching a speed of 938 gigabits per second (Gbps). This speed is more than 9,000 times faster than current 5G technology. By using a wider range of frequencies, the UCL team was able to test future 6G technology, showing it could download over 20 movies in just one second. This breakthrough marks a major step forward in data transmission speeds for the future.
