Red Line BRT Project is a Game Changer for Karachi, Timely Completion Must Be Ensured, Says Sharjeel Memon

A meeting was convened by the Transport Department to discuss the progress of the Red Line BRT project, focusing on sections one and two.
Sindh Minister for Transport, Sharjeel Inam Memon, urged all stakeholders to utilize resources effectively to expedite work on the project. He emphasized the need to coordinate with airport authorities to accelerate ongoing work in the airport area.
To avoid delays, Sharjeel Memon instructed that any issues be resolved within a week. He stated that the project is a game changer for Karachi, and its timely completion must be ensured at all costs.
Sharjeel Memon reaffirmed that the Red Line BRT is a top priority for the Sindh government. He called for speeding up the work to complete the public project within the timeline, highlighting its goal of reducing traffic congestion and providing a sustainable transportation solution.
Officials from Trans Karachi, contractors, and consultants provided briefings regarding the progress and challenges related to the project.
