Karachi Pumping Stations Undergoing Cleaning for the First Time

The Water Corporation has initiated the cleaning of tanks at all pumping stations across Karachi. According to the Managing Director of the Water Corporation, the tanks are being washed, cleaned, and chlorinated to ensure the supply of clean, chlorinated water to residents.

A total of 200 pumping station tanks across the city are being cleaned, said Salahuddin, MD of the Water Corporation. Many of these tanks are being cleaned for the first time, while others are being cleaned after several decades.
