During a federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Pakistan will sign agreements worth $2 billion with a visiting Saudi delegation next week.
The delegation, led by Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Minister for Investment, will be in Pakistan from October 9 to 11. This visit comes ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit scheduled for October 15-16.
The group includes representatives from both the government and the private sector, and their goal is to enhance economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia through these agreements.
Additionally, the federal cabinet approved several important agreements, including subsidies for the fishing sector in line with World Trade Organization guidelines.
