The minister reassured that foolproof security arrangements are in place for foreign nationals. It has been reported that one foreign citizen was injured in the blast, and they have been transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.
CM Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has taken notice of the explosion near Karachi Airport and has asked the Police Chief for a detailed report on the incident.
The Chief Minister instructed authorities to provide a comprehensive briefing on the nature of the explosion and ensure the best medical assistance for the injured.
He made a call to the Interior Minister and IG Police, directing them to immediately involve the bomb disposal squad and submit a report on the cause of the explosion.
CM Sindh also emphasized that the incident should be investigated from all angles, and the airport routes should remain operational to avoid any inconvenience for travelers. He further instructed the district administration to ensure the immediate transfer of the injured to the hospital.
