Former Pakistan cricket team captain Younis Khan has advised against rushing into decisions regarding captaincy, stating that there is still time to make thoughtful choices. He emphasized the importance of making decisions that benefit everyone involved.
Younis Khan, who was in Melbourne to attend the Cricket Australia Summer Festival, was unable to participate in the open house activities due to rain. Speaking to the media, he highlighted the pressure often placed on players by high expectations.
He stressed the need to maintain realistic expectations while allowing players to stay relaxed. “Do not rush into decisions about captaincy; you have time. I believe the choice should be made for the benefit of all,” he stated.
