During his visit to the Karachi Press Club, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah urged that a representative from the Sindh government be included on the K-Electric board. He mentioned that the Sindh Assembly had taken a firm stance on K-Electric, demanding provincial representation on the board.
CM Murad Ali Shah called on the media to raise this issue, highlighting that without a Sindh government representative, they are unaware of internal matters at K-Electric.
He also discussed other key points, stating that the establishment of a constitutional court is part of the 2024 manifesto of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). CM Sindh added that the judicial reforms mentioned by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari align with the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, who advocated for constitutional reforms in 2006.
Regarding the NFC Award, the Chief Minister assured that there would be no reduction in the provinces’ share and that it could only increase. He confirmed that the Sindh government had raised concerns about the NFC Award, and the Finance Minister had assured that these issues would be resolved.
