Pakistani Athlete Qaim Khani Wins Gold and Silver at IKD Asia Karate Championship

Pakistani karate athlete Abdul Rahman Qaim Khani has made his country proud by winning one gold and one silver medal at the 3rd IKD Asia Karate Championship, held in Iran. Competing in the highly competitive -55 kg adult black belt category, Qaim Khani secured the gold medal after defeating opponents from India, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and finally triumphing over the host country’s representative from Iran in the final match.

In the kata category for adult black belts, Qaim Khani impressed the audience by showcasing his remarkable skills. He outperformed participants from Afghanistan, Nepal, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, eventually securing the silver medal after a close contest with an Iranian athlete in the final.

At just 20 years old, Qaim Khani hails from Tando Ulyar, Sindh, and has demonstrated extraordinary talent and dedication at the international level. His success marks a significant achievement for Pakistan in the sport of karate, positioning him as one of the country’s promising athletes on the global stage.
