Government Decides to Shut Down 5 IPPs, Talks on Profit Reduction Ongoing

According to media reports, the government has decided to shut down five Independent Power Producers (IPPs), while negotiations with around 100 other IPPs are ongoing.
Discussions with all IPPs are not yet complete, but the IPPs have shown flexibility regarding the proposed profit reductions.
