Increase in Chikungunya Cases in Karachi, 140 Confirmed Over Five Months

The city is witnessing a rise in chikungunya cases once again, with 140 confirmed cases reported between May and September, according to the Health Department. Out of 211 suspected cases during this period, 189 screenings were conducted, and 140 tested positive.
 
Patients with symptoms such as joint pain, high fever, and body aches are being reported at various hospitals across Karachi. Health experts advise seeking early treatment upon noticing initial symptoms.
