The Sindh government has imposed a ban on the sale of items used in the production and consumption of drugs, according to a notification issued by the provincial authorities. The notification states that SHOs of the concerned police stations are authorized to register cases against violators.
Sindh Minister for Transport, Sharjeel Memon, said this ban is an important step in the ongoing fight against drug abuse. He emphasized that the goal is to discourage the availability of tools that facilitate drug consumption.
He further added that strict measures will continue to be taken to protect the younger generation from the dangers of drugs.
