PTI Secretary General Umar Ayub’s Resignation Accepted

82

Opposition Leader Umar Ayub has confirmed that his resignation as PTI Secretary General, submitted on September 5, has been accepted. Ayub mentioned that he had previously resigned on June 22, but it was not accepted at that time. He revealed that he asked Senate Opposition Leader Shibli Faraz to deliver his resignation during a meeting with the party’s founding chairman.

Ayub explained that the workload of being Opposition Leader, managing legal cases, handling constitutional matters, and serving as PTI’s Secretary General was overwhelming. He also emphasized that he will continue working with the PTI and its founding chairman as a dedicated party worker.
