CAA Directs Airlines Not to Deny Boarding Due to PNR Discrepancies in Tickets

58
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a new directive to all airlines in response to recent complaints from passengers regarding boarding issues.
According to the CAA, there have been complaints where passengers were denied boarding due to discrepancies in their Passenger Name Record (PNR) between ticket booking and travel time. The CAA has taken notice of these complaints and instructed airlines not to stop passengers from boarding if there is a PNR mismatch on their tickets.
The CAA has emphasized that all airlines must strictly adhere to this directive. Additionally, the CAA has mandated that airlines update their PNR policies on their websites. Travel agents are also required to follow these policies during the booking process to prevent passengers from facing difficulties at the time of boarding.
