Governor Sindh Urges for Electricity Price Reduction in Sindh, Following Punjab’s Lead

Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has called for a reduction in electricity prices in Sindh, similar to the relief provided in Punjab.

During a press conference in Karachi, Governor Tessori praised Maryam Nawaz for her efforts in reducing electricity costs by Rs. 14 per unit in Punjab through budget cuts. He emphasized that if Punjab can provide such relief from its budget, Sindh should do the same.

Governor Tessori expressed concern that failing to reduce electricity prices in Sindh could lead to feelings of deprivation among the people. He announced plans to write to the Chief Minister of Sindh, urging the allocation of funds to provide relief to the public.
